Boot Lip Spoiler & Trunk Spoiler
A boot lip spoiler is the single most transformative — and cost-effective — mod you can do to a BYD Seal. The Seal's sloping bootlid is an almost perfect canvas for a flush-mount lip spoiler, and the result is a cleaner, more purposeful roofline that looks factory-fit rather than aftermarket.
At highway speeds, a correctly profiled lip spoiler also reduces lift at the rear axle. For a Performance variant already pushing 390 kW, that's more than just cosmetic. Sequential Racing stocks both subtle OEM-style lips and more pronounced track-style units in ABS plastic and carbon-fibre composite.
Flush-Mount ABS Boot Lip — BYD Seal Universal Fit
Low-profile lip designed to sit flush with the Seal's factory bootlid curvature. Available in gloss black, matte black, and carbon-look finish. Installs with 3M VHB tape — no drilling required.

Front Lip Splitter
The BYD Seal's front end features a wide, low fascia — stock, it looks clean and restrained. A front lip splitter drops the visual centre of gravity even further, making the car look planted and aggressive even at rest.
Functionally, a front splitter redirects airflow underneath the car, increasing front-end downforce and improving high-speed stability. Street-Spec Front Lip — PP Plastic, 3-Piece
Designed for Australian road conditions. Moderate drop with flexible PP construction that deflects rather than cracks on speed humps. Clips to existing bumper lower trim — no permanent modification.
Motorsport Front Splitter — Carbon Fibre / FRP

Side skirts are the visual glue of any body kit build. Without them, even a great spoiler and front lip can look disconnected. The BYD Seal's sill line runs almost perfectly horizontal — one of the easier cars to fit skirts to, and the results look stunning.
Our BYD Seal side skirts are available as clip-on extensions to the factory lower sill trim — meaning no painting of the original car unless you want a colour-matched finish. Available in gloss black, matte black, and primer-ready for professional colour matching.

Rear Diffuser
Complete your build with a rear diffuser. The BYD Seal's rear bumper lower section already has a subtle diffuser-shaped indent in the factory moulding — making aftermarket diffusers fit naturally and look original.
A rear diffuser accelerates airflow exiting the underside of the car, reducing turbulence and drag at the rear. Paired with a boot lip spoiler, it creates a balanced aero package that improves high-speed stability and transforms the rear visual profile.

Will adding a body kit void my BYD Seal warranty in Australia?
Under Australian Consumer Law, a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you've added aftermarket accessories. They would need to demonstrate that the accessory directly caused the fault in question. Cosmetic body kits — spoilers, lips, side skirts, and diffusers — that are exterior-only and don't interface with drivetrain, battery, or electrical systems are extremely unlikely to affect any powertrain or battery warranty.
Do body kits affect the BYD Seal's range or efficiency?
A well-designed aerodynamic kit can marginally improve range by reducing lift and smoothing airflow — particularly at highway speeds. However, improperly fitted or overly aggressive kits can increase drag. Our Sequential Racing BYD Seal kits are wind-tunnel informed and designed to be neutral-to-positive for efficiency.
Are these body kits the same fit for BYD Seal 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026?
Yes. The Australian-market BYD Seal has not undergone a full body refresh across the 2023–2026 production run. The bodyshell, bumper profiles, and sill lines remain consistent, meaning our fitment is confirmed across all model years.
Can I fit these myself, or do I need a workshop?
Most of our BYD Seal body kits are designed and can be DIY installation. Front lips and rear diffusers require basic tools and 1–2 hours. Professional installation is always recommended. Track-spec components are best fitted by a workshop familiar with aero fitment. As modification of cars with our line up, we are experts in fitting and can assist on your needs. The BYD Seal Performance is the flagship variant with a 390 kW dual-motor AWD setup and exclusive Shark Grey colour. Its body dimensions are identical to the Dynamic and Premium, so it uses the same body kit components. If anything, performance owners are our most popular customers — the extra power makes the aero upgrades even more meaningful.
