GR Supra Exhaust Buying Guide

Which Supra exhaust is best for daily driving?

For a quiet cruise with an aggressive note on demand, choose a valved system like the Valvetronic Designs exhaust, which switches between quiet and loud modes, or the AWE Touring Edition, which uses 180 Technology® to stay drone-free.

What's the loudest option?

The AWE Track Edition and the RSE titanium systems with the silencer removed (up to 105dB on the Type-R) are the most aggressive.

Resonated or non-resonated?

Non-resonated gives a rawer, louder tone. Resonated smooths the sound for a fuller, more refined note.

Titanium or stainless steel?

Titanium is much lighter – the RSE Type-R weighs 7.8kg versus 25.1kg for the factory exhaust – while stainless steel systems cost less.

Do I need a tune for a cat-back exhaust?

No. Cat-back systems bolt on to the factory downpipe. For bigger gains, pair one with a downpipe and a tune.
