Return & Exchange Policy
At Sequential Racing, we’re committed to customer satisfaction, but due to the nature of aftermarket and custom automotive products, certain limitations may apply. Please read the following carefully before initiating a return or exchange.
Custom, Made-to-Order, and Special Orders
- Many of our products are manufactured or prepared to individual specifications. As a result:
- Custom, made-to-order, and special-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- These products are built specifically for your order and are not held in stock.
- Refusing delivery, disputing freight costs, or claiming a defect without proof of professional installation will not be grounds for refund or cancellation.
- In rare cases, store credit may be offered at our discretion.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
- You must contact us within 2 business days of receiving your item.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging, including all supplied components (hardware, instructions, and accessories).
- Returns requested after 2 business days will not be accepted.
- Once an item has been installed, drilled, modified, or tampered with, it is no longer eligible for return or exchange.
- We reserve the right to refuse any returns that do not meet the above criteria.
Non-Returnable Situations
- Change of mind, including incorrect part selection.
- Sale or clearance items.
- Items requested for return after 2 business days.
- Products that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery.
- Shipping or freight delays, including delays once items have left our warehouse.
- Custom, special-order, or made-to-order items crafted specifically for your purchase.
- Claims without proof of professional installation.
- Returns submitted without proof of purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 2 business days of delivery. You must provide:
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Clear photographic evidence of the product and packaging.
If confirmed, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the situation. Minor issues may be resolved with a repair or replacement part. Major issues will qualify for a full refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
Return Process
- Contact our team at sales@sequentialracing.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
- If approved, we will provide a return shipping address and further instructions.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and may be deducted from any eligible refund or store credit.
- Use trackable, secure packaging. Sequential Racing is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Refunds & Processing
- Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Please allow 5–7 business days for funds to appear in your account.
- In some cases, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to cover administrative and handling costs.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered (subject to approval) within 2 business days of receiving your order and only for items that meet all return conditions.
Exchanges are not available for:
- Customised or made-to-order items.
- Pre-ordered products.
- Items returned in non-original or damaged condition.
Warranty & Legal Compliance
This policy is separate from any applicable warranty terms, which may vary depending on the product. Please refer to our Warranty Policy for full details.
We operate in compliance with Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for major product faults. For minor issues, we will repair within a reasonable timeframe or provide a refund if the item cannot be repaired.
Important Notes
- Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate product selection before purchase.
- No refunds will be issued for errors due to incorrect part compatibility — please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
- Sequential Racing does not profit from freight charges; however, freight costs are non-refundable.
