Do I need a tune for a cold air intake?
Not for most. For example, the Injen SP2300 maintains safe air/fuel ratios on a stock ECU.
How much power does a Supra intake add?
Typical claimed gains range from around +5hp (ARMASPEED) to +15hp (Injen SP2300 and AWE S-FLO). Intakes also sharpen throttle response and turbo sound.
Carbon or aluminium?
Carbon intakes like ARMASPEED and AWE S-FLO offer a premium engine bay look. Aluminium options like Injen and ARMASPEED aluminium are more affordable with similar airflow benefits.
What goes well with an intake?
A charge pipe upgrade replaces the brittle factory plastic pipe and complements an intake, especially on tuned cars.
